Seamus was last seen on stage reprising the role of Manus in the National Theatre’s acclaimed production of Translations.
Seamus is a graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast. Immediately after graduating he was cast in BBC NI’s drama 6 Degrees, playing Gary Meadows for three seasons.
Seamus most recently appeared on HBO’s Game of Thrones and as Davey Hanlon on BBC’s My Mother and Other Strangers, directed by Adrian Shergold. Seamus has worked consistently with Northern Ireland Screen in various critically acclaimed short films such as Dinosaurs, The Captors (Six Mill Hill Productions), and Dust (Northern Ireland Screen). He also worked with Oscar-winning filmmaker Oorlagh George on Off Sides, a short film/performance installation.
On stage, Seamus most recently worked with the Lyric Theatre, Belfast on a performance of Seamus Heaney’s Station Island and Patrick Kavanagh’s The Great Hunger. Earlier this year at the Lyric, Seamus played ‘Mitch’ in A Streetcar Named Desire, as well as performing in a sell out run of Owen McCafferty’s Mojo Mickybo (Bedlam Theatre).
